The main facility is located at the intersection of US Highways 18/151 and County Road PD on the South West side of Madison, WI. This distribution center is over 400,000 square feet with over 50,000 square feet dedicated to frozen food.

Certco was established in 1930 as a cooperative buying group by several grocers in the Madison, WI market. The cooperative moved to the present location in 1960. In 1975 the cooperative members voted to change to a corporation, still maintaining the cooperative structure.

Certco has purchased Femrite Rd Warehouse Facility, a 347,000 sq ft distribution center for the HBC/GM/Specialty Food product lines. Among other features, the facility hosts partially mechanized picking towers and open rack storage.

Certco maintains itÂ’s own fleet of tractors and refrigerated trailers.
