Certco Bike Event a HUGE Success!

As part of Certco Inc.’s health and wellness plan we successfully coordinated a company-wide bicycle ride that took place on Saturday June 18th 2011! Our plan was to bike from Burreson’s Food Center to Gempeler’s (round trip about 20 miles).

The day began with everyone meeting at Burreson’s in Belleville for a light breakfast before heading out on the Badger State Trail to Gempeler’s in Monticello. Once we reached Gempeler’s we enjoyed lunch with Ernie, Ken and Sharon before heading back to Belleville.

The day turned out to be perfect. The trail was beautiful, flooded with a sea of “Safety Yellow” t-shirts all pedaling for our health. About ¾ into the ride we came upon a dark black tunnel. So dark you couldn’t even see your own hand in front of your face without a flashlight or lantern. It was an experience not soon forgotten.

Thanks to everyone who participated! We had a wonderful time and hope to coordinate another Certco Inc. bicycle ride very soon!
